Full-time (40 hours, 5 days) Senior Research Engineers – Vehicle Control and Motion Planning are needed in Brookshire, TX office to
Design vehicle control system and test vehicle dynamic models for auto trucks’ longitudinal and lateral dynamics in real-world autonomous driving situations.
Design and develop vehicle motion planning algorithms for vehicle stop-and-go cruise control, lane change, and traffic interactions to ensure optimal trajectory generation, robust and optimal decisions, and
computation in online real-time fashion.
Integrate and test control and planning algorithms for autonomous
vehicle system.
Position requires Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field; with minimum 5 years of vehicle control and motion planning experience in the autonomous vehicle industry to include the following: design and develop algorithms for vehicle control and motion planning; integrate and test control and planning algorithms for autonomous vehicle system; with demonstrated knowledge in control systems design, vehicle dynamics, optimization, algorithms, data structures, C/C++, Python.
