Full-time (40 hours, 5 days) Senior Research Engineers – Motion Planning and Navigation are needed in Brookshire, TX office to

  • Develop and refine algorithms to enable robots and autonomous systems for real-time responsiveness/adjustments.

  • Optimize motion planning algorithms for speed, efficiency, and computational resource.

  • Conduct extensive testing and validation on algorithms in simulated environments and real-world scenarios to ensure performance and safety.

  • Provide technical support during field trials, and address and solve issues that arise during the deployment and operation of autonomous systems.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for algorithms, software, and systems to facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration.


Position requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field; with minimum 4 years of motion planning software development in the autonomous vehicle industry to include the following: design and develop motion planning system; integrate and utilize HD-Map; integrate, test and validate navigation software for quality assurance, and proficiency in C/C++, Python, ROS, Linux, graph theory and convex optimization algorithms.
