Full-time (40 hours, 5 days) Senior Research Engineers – Motion Planning are needed in Brookshire, TX office to

• Develop and refine algorithms to enable robots and autonomous systems for real-time

  responsiveness/adjustments.

• Optimize motion planning algorithms for speed, efficiency, and computational resources.

• Conduct testing and validation on algorithms in simulated environments and real-world scenarios to ensure performance and safety.

• Provide technical support during field trials, and address and solve issues that arise during the deployment and operation of autonomous systems.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for algorithms, software, and systems to facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration.

The position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field; with a minimum of 3 years of motion planning experience in the autonomous vehicle industry, including the following: design, implement and test motion planning algorithms; create tools to improve the research and development efficiency, and proficiency in C++, Linux, convex optimization algorithms.
