Full-time (40 hours, 5 days) Research Engineers – Materials Research and Procurement are needed in BOT AUTO TX INC’s Brookshire, TX office to

• Source materials, components, and products aligning with project specifications and performance criteria.

• Customize products through experiments, testing, and data analysis.

• Ensure procured materials meet quality, safety, and performance standards in collaboration with Quality Assurance team.

• Maintain and enhance materials systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and support equipment optimization.

• Evaluate, onboard and manage suppliers for key autonomous truck components.

• Streamline procurement and supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering, or a closely related field; minimum 2 year’ experience of materials research and procurement support to include the following: research, evaluate and source materials; develop and implement quality control processes; maintain and improve materials systems; evaluate suppliers and manage procurement of materials; and proficiency in Ansys Granta Selector, ERP system, Python.
